ASTS Incorporated (ASTS) has provided on-call surveying services to the Bureau of Land Management, New Mexico office for the past year. These services have included topographic surveys and GPS photo control for aerial mapping of six miles of access roads to parklands. ASTS also provided surveys to determine the quantity of extraction materials on BLM mineral leases. Both task assignments were completed on-time and within budget.
ASTS is also providing topographic surveying, mapping and right-of-way surveying for approximately 100 miles of roadway for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Arizona and New Mexico. These assignments include the establishment of over 400 GPS control points for mapping and right-of-way control. Additionally, more than 1,000 bench marks were established for use during construction of the roadways. This project has been ongoing for the past year.
